  3. NO, as I said in opening post, I need to get there before they do cancel it. But know a few/have some friends who have and still are racing there

  4. I have not been for a few years now, was lucky to see Joeys last wins in 2000,looked at booking up again but seems you have to book up two years in advance if you want to take a van with specific dates, rather than wait for cancelations.

  5. What you have to do is spend hours on redial to Steampacket on the day the ferry tickets go on sale for the following year , I think it was 20th May this year.
    It’s a nightmare but worth it, it’s getting worse but unfortunately there is no other way if you’re taking a van.
    The ferry ticket has to be paid towards the end of February and after the poor weather this year there may be cancellations.
    It may be a good idea to ring Steampacket and find out when the cancellations are sold, you never know.
    Next is finding accommodation.....

  9. Norton ceo has tweeted that it was a bolt failure not caused by a mechanic.
