No, not me Steve...too much of a coward to race! I know the Gamma was the better bike, but the Elsie was a beaut in my eyes. My best mate got a job when I was still in school, and got one, and I've never been so jealous in my life. Had to make do with a 350LC, but that was still a lot of fun.
yes, we are off topic but that's an interesting one and it's an arguable point as many would say anything pre - Gamma others would say anything pre - Fessia etc etc. Lancia as a brand are hanging on by their fingernails and rumour is that the marque could be shelved soon. Answering Desmohog below (so I don't go off topic twice E.T ) The opinion on 'The last true Lancia' could run until I die.. just to play devil's advocate there wasn't a lot wrong with the Beta that overlapped production of the Fulvia either - same stylist as Fulvia. Fiat purchased Lancia very early on re: Fulvia production (October 1969) rather than after btw (ended 1976). If you do need an engine please let me know.
Lancia is between a rock and er... something else. Fiat is supposed to be the budget car for everyone. Alfa, the sporty one Ferrari the money no objet one Lancia the (supposedly) high end prestigious one. Well you can see that Lancia doesn't cut it in this market segment. It hasn't looked any more like BMW, Mercedes Audi or Jag since they came up with that portfolio segmentation. So if it's not sporty, not budget, not prestigious or aspirational, what is it? Answer: not much. It will be no surprise if it bites the dust. It just has no image. A pity, as had they continued on a different flavour of sporty - which is what Lancias were meant to be all about - it could have worked. Poor brand strategy.

Havin not owned a ducati (hoping to shortly) i would'nt no they never existed so i would be keeping my SP2.
Sp2 nice bike i nearly bought a sp1 a wile ago but was amazed how heavy it was ,not ducati like at all
