Snowing in Hitchin, but the roads in the village look okay, so my girls swimming and diving lessons should still be on.
I'm supposed to be going north today to see my parents but I'm not sure if I should go, even though I really need to talk to my brother and sister about some "care" decisions that have to be made. There is some traffic on the road but it's moving very slowly. And a snowplough has just been past too. I'll decide in the next couple of hours, but it's still dumping
Due to my black eye and bleeding nose my wife says I have to rescind my offer, regrettably :frown:
Good covering here, not been outside yet but looks like a good 3" only dandruff falling at the moment though.
Must have had a good 6/7" overnight and it's still coming down, thankfully not on call or working tonight, afternoon in pub I think !
got about 1 1/2 inches settled so far and still snowing thre goes my weekend fiddling with the bike ...................... must convert my back room window into a door its warmer in here
m62 jct 21 was closed on my way back from clitheroe last night. Ended up taking the a roads and only just managed to get home. Been out with the dogs this morning and its waist deep in some areas.
Its not stopped snowing here, since yesterday morning at 3am, and we have about 16" on the ground now. And a couple of neighbours are trying to clear a path for their cars out of the courtyard. I'd offer to help them but its snowing as fast as they are clearing it, and it's forecast to be snowing here for the next five days. And secondly they should have parked their cars at the top of the bank like everyone else did when the snow was forecast, so if they need to drive somewhere then they can. Some people are just plain stoopid
