Yep you could just be right, not my department on this job though, slaters are following tomorrow afternoon. Steve
GWS fella, Did my collarbone last year, off the bike for 3mths in total but no apparent long term effects. It’s a bastard when it’s not your fault though!
Just out of interest, how is the fascia and soffit going to work on that roof ?i usually get the fascia and soffit to do and have never come across rafters finished like that.
It has been mentioned before when I have put up pictures of roofs I have done in the past. This roof won't have facias or soffit, the front wall has another couple of rows of bricks to go on yet, then the slates sit on top of the bricks with the guttering fixed to the bricks, many buildings particularly barn convertions are done like this around here. Steve
Sorry to hear about your accident, glad your injuries aren't worse though. Bike, despite being your P&J can be replaced or repaired. GWS. Out of interest; how did the scooterist fare?
I get it, gutter on rise and falls then. I only ever get involved on roof work when i put on fascia board so was intrigued with this roof layout
Not me but my builders...........finished the patio area, built a planter, extended and finished the path to the rear of the garden room. Tomorrow they are back to finish a few fiddly bits before they disappear till the windows rock up the first week of July.
