I wondered why it had a Gen 1 clutch cover on it. The rear suspension linkage is also different to my Gen 2. But it has Gen 2 bodywork, non electronic suspension. Definite homework required for anybody looking to buy this. Expensive for a Gen 1 (with a bit of a story), Cheap for a Gen 2.
Lovely 916 base model. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-9...235636?hash=item443fa023b4:g:514AAOSwL8Zc~itv
Bargain!!! I nearly snapped it up then realised I didn’t have the funds https://m.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-109...5316b0a68881235632ffe9ad71&_mwBanner=1&_rdt=1
So, not the first time a Rutter 1098 bike has been listed (think it's the same one Riders of Bristol was trying to sell) and I take the post Rutter history with a pinch of salt. Is it truly a bargain ? Lot of non standard parts including in the engine if the 200 rwhp is to be believed, no documented history referred to or original parts included. I'd like to see just how much of a refresh Barnie Racing did because a proper refresh would easily cost best part of £10k. Given the choice, I'd stick with the bike you got from Ash, much better value and more than likely a lot less fragile. Andy
