Don’t think it matters, whenever you see one for sale, it’s been on some rich guys living room on a plinth since the day he bought it!
I remember the 1st time I rode my F4, I turned round after 2 miles down the road and came back as I thought it had a faulty plug. It just felt flat and lumpy. As it turns out, I just wasn't revving it enough after riding my 996 at the time. It had a power band almost like a 2 stroke and loved to rev. For balance, I had it about 8 years and never had a pick of bother with it.
I’m awaiting delivery of it, any day soon I hope. Thanks, a few things to do still but not much time until the end of August so that’ll be it for now I think.
Very nice bike without doubt but, IMO a little too many extra details and a classic case of "less is more" - I think they got it right first time (3-spoke wheels excepted) with the 916.
Come on boys and girls, whats all this nonsense about 916`s or 999`s etc. I was going to pop in a pic of the original air cooled multi but then I remembered this little beauty. Beat that !
