  11. Left Aberfeldy in the highlands of Scotchyland at 9.00 this morning, stopped in at Ducati Glasgow to find that the F4 RC I was considering has been sold so carried on back to Hertfordshire and arrived back home at 4.30pm. Now thinking hard about putting a deposit on a Superveloce 800 for next year, at least I'll have time to make a space to keep it in.

As madam is away for a bit now I took my lovely ex, ex out for lunch by the river today. This is the only place safe enough to post this pic as they absolutely loathe one another so fb and insta are strictly off limits.
Then I came home and discovered the source of the fuel smell from my 998.

  15. I live by the seat of my pants. Predictably, as it’s such a small community here within 5 mins I’d bumped into one of my employees who knows Yana so I’m gonna have to bribe him on Monday.
Or did you mean the moules?
Or Claire? She’s not that bad surely? As you have been to Morzine you will probably have met her, she’s the mouthy Australian bar manager from the Tibetan!

  17. Just got back from Chamouille, about 30km from Reims. Bloody hot all the way, only 3 bikes on the Eurotunnel train and then the fecking UK road network. What a disaster, miles of ‘road improvements’ and ‘smart motorway’ updating which translates into miles upon miles of 50mph and no fecker doing any road works. Hit the M3/A3 junction and total standstill. Not sure if the breakdowns were caused by the delays or the delays were due to the breakdowns. Got off onto local roads and just figuratively ran into fecking old drivers, fecking going fecking nowhere at fecking 23mph. I can say if anyone gets the chance to ride the track at Folembray, it is an absolutely delightful track. Technical but short, about 58/59 second lap for the fast group, but challenging and hugely rewarding when you get it right. The Multistrada with the 1098R wheels and M7RRs was an absolute hoot. Andy
