It is at Easter because there are 4 different themed days .......and associated entertainment and market stalls. Maximum exposure (no pun intended !!). let's be positive here - last year the day started bitterly cold (anyone remember the arrival at Motori Di Marino's of people who had ridden from Dorset, Northamptonshire, etc, to be there?) but by lunch time it was t-shirt weather. Forecast is looking warmer (well, than today!) for Friday, and the event is run for good causes (Air Ambulance). And - nitpicking! - it's Horsham District Council, and 3 days for the event (Sunday is a religious holiday). :wink:
Yes Luca, I'm with you on that one! I have to admit that if the weather doesn't improve I doubt I'll make the event :-(
Friday was showing 6*(max) and sunny earlier today for Brentwood on Friday, now its listed as 4* cloudy. Don't think Gurlyfriend will make this and I'm dubious but if we do pull out I'll pay our donation somehow. Thinking positive for a upturn tho:wink:
I have a link to this webpage on my phone & I've found it quite reliable in the past. h'mm, I watched the local bbc weather and it was for 6 degrees on Friday with the warm front trying to get in from the south .... ah well, we shall see! :smile:
NEWS UPDATE We have been informed today by Piazza organisers that the Event is "GO" :biggrin: The weather forecast is sufficiently congenial (ha!) to allow everything to go ahead as planned. so.... Please get polishing with renewed vigour :tongue: I will see you all bright and early on Friday... Safe riding :wink:
