This Sunday 1 July (2018) from 10am is the Bike Day at Brooklands (near Weybridge in Surrey). Went last year and enjoyed it - intending to go again this year. If on a bike, be sure to go in the Campbell Gate entrance; if by car, go in the other way. I need hardly say that the weather forecast is dry and sunny. https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/whats-on/motorcycle-day
This year's Brooklands Bike Day is coming up, on Sunday 30 June 2019. Weather is expected to be excellent, as usual. Anybody going? https://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/whats-on/motorcycle-day
Can you pay on the door? Are there trade stands? I like buying stuff or at least perusing stuff, could I get there at 10 and leave at noon and still have seen enough to make it worth it? I find the excel bike show a 2 hour event as I get bored quickly, tempted to bop down there Thanks
Yes pay on the door, if you’re on a bike you can ride in and park in the museum grounds for this show. A few trade trade stands, but very limited. Yes leave when you like, your entry also allows gets you into the museum exhibits, both vehicle and aircraft sheds, but it’s £14.50 for adults.
The Sei looks a bit unbalanced without the full complement of silencers, but a very nice line-up in the sun. I especially like the Zagato! Edit: only one t in Zagato. Thanks Chris, these things do matter!
