Classic signs of dellusionism, yeah son, you got labouritus real bad the whole point of a democracy is that you have a right to vote, or a right not to vote. Now you could go down the path of the Australians and compulsory voting but let's be honest about trying to force that on the U.K. You could go down the way of requiring a a certain percentage of the population before a vote is accepted but (1) what if not enough turn up (2) how would you force enough to vote (3) some parties rely, and not just the big two, on everyone NOT turning up I must say in recent events, going on about "but the vote is not valid because not enough of the population voted" only ever comes from those who willingly took part in a vote and they lost. Had they won with the same low turn out, they wouldn't be seeking any change at all.
William Hill plans to shut 700 betting shops https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-48868335 How long before someone in the media links this to brexit. Nothing to do with online betting.
Labouritus, dellusionism don't like labels me. My post doesn't promote or suggest a change in democratic voting (PR a poss ), no its as i have mentioned before about being happy in your own skin, i personally couldn't discuss anything political albeit in a pub, forum, or face to face with anybody knowing that the only way we (electorate) have in any say is at the ballot box. Turning your back on that as a protest is futile and eventually leads too anarchy, is that what want you cos that's what you'll get.
I'll give you a vote, pb, which you can cast for Jeremy Kunt or for Boris BoJob. Use your vote, pb, don't lose it!
Some may say we have anarchy in politics at the moment, I'd prefer to say it is a consequence of the top tables not listening and people having a voice and saying not anymore.
Hmmm. In my opinion, at the moment, none of them give me enough confidence with their ideas and policies to vote for them. To show my disapproval I should vote for one of them anyway. I’ll bear that in mind for the next GE.
Good point. I’ve never voted Conservative as there’s very little I agree with them usually. Next GE they have my vote though, if no one else appears worthy. Got to vote so....
