Looking at Spring holidays for 2020... Cape Verde, Madeira or the Azores ... just before Easter... 5-7 days. Any comments? I've ordered the guides from Amazon... must have a read.
Have you seen ‘Travel Man, 48 hours in’ .... series on TV? There’s one on Madeira with Robert Webb, kinda put me off.
Not so much what I have been doing, but much more interestingly, what has she been doing. Here’s a blatant plug for my lovely Yana’s latest music release. Out today on Spotify, iTunes, and Apple Music. She puts a massive amount of effort, time, and resource into this, proving she’s not just a (very) pretty face so if you have a moment please take a listen, like, and share it, or ask your kids to if you are old. Thank you. https://open.spotify.com/album/4ogBpiXPLCdoxsRNSezF4g?nd=1 @El Toro I hope you don’t mind the plug?
Went to Wilko to get some lawn feed and as it was a nice day, decided to walk the 3 miles. Anyway, I just walked out of my street, round the corner and there's this old fella tinkering with a mint L reg Triumph Bonneville on his drive. I've passed his house a load of times but never seen it before. I spend the best part of 30 mins talking to him. Funny old fella who basically gave me his life's biking history of mostly Triumphs and Tritons. But the Triumph is up for sale and he fancies a Monster. He must be in his 70's too. Top fella.
No. I don’t mind. (Ps. There’s a gag in there about getting plugged, but I’m not shallow enough to say it )
We’ve just got back from a 50th birthday party up north. We had to leave early to get home before midnight as I’ve git to get up at 5.30 to head to Donington tomorrow. G’night
Such a nice morning so I took the Enfield Interceptor GT out for a run around stopped at the local Frankie and Benny's for breakfast
Spent over an hour (so far) at Ryka’s contemplating the lack of waterproofiness of my boots. They are waterlogged. Using the impending arrival of @PeterT as an excuse to not get back out on the bike.
How are you getting on with the Interceptor @T500? I sat on one in a showroom in India and have seen a few riding about in India, they sounded good, and the build quality looked impressive. I have heard that Royal Enfield's R&D dept' is second to none. I recently took a Himalayan for a test ride and loved the bike, didn't want to take it back.
