  2. Just packing up to leave our campsite at Goodwood and one thing came to mind. There is no litter apart from the odd bottle top etc.
Found a picture of Glastonbury for comparison......

  5. Spent the weekend bonding with Multistrada II

Now this is the bike I thought I was signing up to... 300 really fun miles clocked up in the sunshine on Moor and Peak, from unclassified lanes to motorways. :)

  8. SWMBO wont be happy (well, will pretend she's not). She has been "encouraging" me to speak to next door about them painting the facia board on their house that we look out on from our kitchen. I did, several times, but no action resulted.
So today I have been up the ladder with the power sander and paint brushes (they were out). Not as good a job as I would do on my own place, but pretty passable when viewed from the ground.
She won't be happy because last time I used the sander up high I fell off the ladder, dislocated my ankle and broke my talus bone in two - on crutches for 3+ months and still got the screws in my foot. Who dares wins, Rodney.

  11. That's until you've invoiced the lazy bastards for works carried out;)

  12. Had two bits of half decent news today......................

    1. An asphalting company that got tar spots and grit all over my Diavel two weeks ago have allegedly agreed to have the bike professionally detailed to get it back to pristine condition (tbh I've managed to get most of it off but there are a couple of small areas I've not been able to clean up perfectly) so I wanted it seeing to.

    2. We've managed to blag some free vinyl floor for the garden room and to have the floor screeded courtesy of the original builders. We just have to pay the vinyl fitter for his time fitting it :)

EDIT. Ignore that, I should have read on :(

  15. Went to the National Arboretum and Memorial today, first time. What an impressive place but very sobering, made me fill up:pensive:.
Nice flowers and grounds there @Davebird, oh, and I found a small bin for you:)

  17. Re-acquainted myself with how to use that expensive DID KM500 chain tool I bought about 10 years ago. I acquired a new chain a while ago that I knew was 8 links too long for the Multistrada and would need shortening, I just never got around to it, until today. I now remember why I bought the DID tool, it made short work of pushing out the 530 link pins, no grinding, no fuss and no injuries :D Andy
