Sometimes the factory just exploit their customers brand loyalty by launching "specials" that aren't really that special at all. This is one of those times in my opinion.
Let's face it. the standard v4 is a pig ugly duck so any sticker kit that helps keep the vomit down must be a plus. It will be interesting to see what the premium will be.

They wouldnt be offering free leathers if sales were good. Its overpriced and doesnt fill me with desire (ie its isnt the prettiest Ducati). Knock 5 or 6k off and then it may be ok for a v4s. But its not great value for money when I can buy (eventually) a 19k BMW which is not only not bad to look at but has all the bells and whistles.
