https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https://www.ebay.co.uk/ulk/itm/283539849679 Yes its an Ebay ad but specifically mine not one I've found online, should be enough of a reason to avoid online court martial. Not really pushing the sale on here, just wondering peoples opinion on the amount of watchers/views so far and me only having had like 2 private messages? Reason for sale explained on the ad, pretty much I just can't see the point of a sports bike on road any more & why tool this one up for track when I could get an ex tri ops for like 9k.
Mine is on eBay too I’ve got 42 watchers and 979 views one offer of 7K and one dickhead bid which I cancelled. Rich
Ah, the competition.... Haha. Boring me now this sale tbh, might just ring up Ducati Plymouth and be like "Alright, what will you give me?"
I had a 2010 848 evo, 12k, fully serviced with ohlins all round (forks too) plus standard stuff, and got 6k against a 17k bike from a dealer in 2013. Hence my guess
Paid like £8999 for it in Jan. Put 1400 miles on it. Haven't had to service or MOT. If it goes for like 7.8k, I mean it's not a financial success but it's not the end of the world either ey?
There was a really useful link on here, bit cant find it now. A quick look and this site https://www.thebikemarket.co.uk/ducati/superbike/899-panigale#price-guide has these valuations a guide at least. HTH PRICE GUIDE Year Dealer Private Part Ex Mileage 2014 £8,850 £7,050 £6,200 8,900 2015 £9,750 £7,800 £6,850 6,900
Sorry bud. 1. I'm track only now and 2. Fagan from 44T put me off the 999 forever when he complained about its lack of spunk (not for one minute suggesting I'm good enough to take even a 250 to its limit). What's the link anyway just for interest?
Legend I was looking for something like this, I dunno man he's only just hit 4k.dont think asking for even 8k is out of order.
At least you know if you call them and they say '5 grand mate' you genuinely can reply with 'you're taking the piss!!' lol
Mate I'm sure they're fantastic but I've got a Daytona for track that I'm more than happy with untill I buy something silly. Wasn't saying 999's are slow I just very poorly tried to get across the next time I get a new track bike it'll be something alot quicker than I've already got.
Very smart mate. I don't know about others as apparently there were rumblings amongst the Ducatisti due to the looks of the 999 but I really like them.
I think you should be able to get 7.5 - 7.75 at a push. If it had a few more shiny bits (Termi etc..) it might be in 8 territory but to be honest your bike probably won’t get that. It’s more a case of being patient.
