Sorry... I read all of that several times and failed to see your question? Yours.... a purple headed Brexiteer.
What are you talking about? Do you not understand the basics of company car economics? A Jaguar is not any less expensive than the equivalent BMW or Alfa Romeo. Since the majority of new cars enter the market as company cars, it’s the lease cost which is important. Lease cost is mostly driven by depreciation. Alfa’s and jaguars don’t have the best record in depreciation whilst German cars are amongst the best. So a 10% increase in the cost of the car is meaningless in terms of which car I pick.
So what you're saying is, your preference is for Mercedes and you want to remain in the EU to facilitate this .. but other brands are available for folk with lower standards and inferior social skills, so they don't get an opinion on whether we remain or not? Wow. This is a lot to take in! I'm glad you are here advising us.
You have my deepest sympathy for not being able to grasp the concept that in or out of the EU it will make no difference to how many cars BMW/Mercedes/VW/Audi/Porsche sell in the U.K. The biggest threat to these companies is Tesla who manufacture outside the EU
Translation: The EU is not interested in Scotchland joining the EU, it wants the *UK* to stay in the EU. If by muddying the waters - by making statements on the likelihood of Scotchland being allowed in - the EU can create instability and friction within the UK, this is good. An uncertain and conflicted UK is far more likely to cleave to the EU than to seek to "go it alone". Gotta love the EU and the BBC.
You seem to be all over the map here. Leaving the EU will have an effect on whether you can get your hands on a Mercedes but secretly, you would prefer a Tesla? But you want to stay in the EU because you cannot resist a German automobile? You seem terribly conflicted, 749er. Can I interest you in a Nissan Almera, 31K miles? I promise I'll get the air con fixed first.
Where I have said I want or can have a Tesla? I true feel for you, having such poor comprehension of the English language
What makes you say that the UK will leave the EU? What convinced you of that? Was it a politician that did it? Or something else?
You can want, or have, any kind of car you like. You don't need my permission. And why would your poor comprehension of English make you "feel for me"? Genuinely puzzled now. You are all over the shop today!
