That third picture, at first glance I thought blimey what a nose that Aprillia has.... closer inspection and noticed the camper van perfectly positioned and in the same colour.. terrible photography, or maybe, brilliant.. x
Just finished my last night of 72 hours unloading goods for everyone on here and loading fresh air to return to China... I hope you appreciate my efforts! Now off for a Nøødle nap! X
First full day back in old blighty today after 2 weeks in Florida. A few house based odd jobs (garden overgrown for one) but the plan is later to get out on something with 2 wheels as ive got withdrawal symptoms...bigtime.
tidying a little bit in the garden before the staff come round to rotorvate before new turf being laid.
In airport waiting to fly home, weather wasn't great but a friend just sent this pic of me exiting plane over Texel.
Today I have had a blast on the Scrambler doing the Woodhead and Snake Passes with my neighbour, David, who happens to be the slowest rider in the world. I take off then stop several times for ten minutes at a time waiting for him to catch me up. I might take up smoking so I’ve got something to do whilst I’m waiting for him Whilst at the Ladybower cafe, some friends from Ducati Manchester crew (Colin[Diavel 1260S], Dan [V4R] and Mike [1299]) rocked up so when we left to come home I had a bit of company racing back. And boy did we race! (We obviously don’t go over 70mph officer). We left David to potter back and once in Glossop we pulled over till he caught us up. We then split up, with Colin, Dan and Mike heading towards Castleton and me and David headed home as he had to go to a bbq this afternoon. Great blast back from Glossop, over the Woodhead and Holme Moss. It just confirmed that we have great roads with great scenery on our doorstep. If we were guaranteed good weather there’d be no need to travel abroad with our bikes!
Had the big bad boy out today, very powerful but heavy so you need the backpack/harness fitted or the back gets f##ked for the week
