  3. I don't watch a lot of films and when I do I rarely watch them again unless it's years later and I've forgotten the plot........BUT I have seen the "Bourne" films quite a lot.

  4. lucky number slevin and a history of violence, great movies but only work once.
apocolipto. you can watch and watch again.

  5. I think of great movies the same way as great albums .
You might not want to watch / listen every single day , but they are always
a pleasure to come back to .

The truly great ones have so many aspects to enjoy .....
dialogue , plot , cinematography , sets and costumes and all the
    period detail .
Take movies such as The Godfather or Chinatown ..... they are perfect
    on so many levels .
Nobody could have assembled all of those ingredients and have them
work together , or planned for the greatness .
So much is left to chance , or good luck .... and maybe that's what
    makes great art .

Just look how Hollywood has been desperately scraping the barrel ....
.... endless remakes and Marvel Comics adaptations .....
made today , forgotten tomorrow .

Just my 2 kopeks worth :)

  13. Blade runner has the finest speech ever imo.

I've seen things you people wouldn't believe.

Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion.

I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate.

All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

    Time to die.

  16. I got high school musical and camp rock over and over.

  17. Oh Hell Yeah !
Forgot all about that gem .....
" Epic sci-fi " definitely , but more than that , an epic vision of a possible future .
One that is so totally credible that you immerse yourself into it ,
    without even realizing .

But much credit must go to Philip K. Dick for the original story .
The being that gets to meet his creator ( god ) , and kill him ,
    out of pure frustration .

  18. Apocalpse Now. The best version is the Directors Cut with all the scenes that were edited out repliced into the film and making the movie even longer. Fantastic story, brilliant acting, one of the greatest movies of all time.
