Actually you not far off being right calling me a Cork. Where i originally lived on the Isle of Wight it is a nickname for us Islanders but spelt this way"Caulkhead".
IoW, eh? Webbed feet/hands or did you have the snips? I have always enjoyed my trips to the Isle of Wight (or as we used to refer to it in the office, Sliding Down the Ladder of Evolution to an Earlier, Simpler Time).
This may not be culture or religious related, personally I am somewhere in between CofE and Atheist, my wife is not allowed to answer the door or even twitch the curtains, her chains wont allow her to reach the windows, apart from kitchen window but thats round back and not much I can do about that obviously, so maybe this persons husband is just showing concern like me, she could break a finger nail or get skin cancer if allowed exposure to direct daylight. I will not respond to any sexist responses.
It is dry wit and I don't seriously believe that. Thank you for noticing - I was getting worried! *thumbup*
You're right the largest constituency in the uk, the only benefits i know about is that there was a lot reacharounds going on there.
i think Ross, Skye and Lochaber (highland) is the biggest constituency in the UK. traditionally a liberal seat. now full of ex liberals and new Scots
