Fixed the tumble dryer (hopefully). Twas leaking water everywhere. Turns out the heat resistant silicon that seals the back panel over the condenser had broken down so needed to be cleaned out and re-siliconed. Can't test it until the silicon cures - 24hrs.
Came home a more congested route, that was very hot and sweaty - must find summer gloves and search on here for reviews / suggestions for Kevlar trousers. That or a new thread.
Cured the grinding sound from the back of my Vdub by fitting new brake pads Was a nice ride to Scarborough eurocarparts on the bike to pick them up
Garden room is finished and I have to say it’s looking good. We’ll put the furniture back in place tomorrow. Tomorrow the decorator is doing a “feature wall” in the lounge in gold paint , then he’s doing one wall in our bedroom..........then he’s wall papering one wall in the downstairs loo. But not just any old wallpaper, oh no...................SWMBO got a map of our village (from 1749) and has had it made into wallpaper, highlighting an area in a field where our house is now. So no need to take a magazine or a phone into the loo now to help pass the time
Gold paint sounds fun but don't use the suede finish paint as when you touch it up it goes black'ish.
Spent a few hours tidying the garage and throwing out a load of unused rubbish. Going to make some brackets at work tomorrow so I can get some more stuff hung up and off the floor. Also got a good idea for some increased security so that's on the fabrication list.
