Yeah - i would say in a scale of 1-10 we were about 7 ish today, good speed, slightly over the limit in most places but on the whole a good day.

Removed the knackered chain and front sprocket from the Multistrada and fitted shiny new sprocket and DID gold chain. Not without its drama, had to shorten the continuous chain a friend offered to me at a knock down price because he ordered the wrong one for his Kawasaki, which I did with my DID KM500R tool without a problem. Sadly when I came to remove a link on the chain fitted to the bike, I misaligned and stupidly overtightened the removal pin which exploded into about 4 bits in a shower of sparks. Fortunately you can get replacement pins, just can’t find a UK stockist with one in stock at the moment. Time to get out and see if I’ve done the job properly. Andy
A quick run over the Caha Pass this morning (there’s a song in there somewhere - ‘as I was going over the Cork & Kerry mountains’ ) to Kenmare for coffee in a lovely French bakery then back via the Healy Pass before the rain set in. EDIT: When I said run I meant on the bike obviously. It's just coincidence there's a fella wearing running shoes in the photo of my coffee

The Mrs & I went kayaking on the River Ouse in Bedfordshire yesterday and took the dogs along too , Louis the poodle and Lola the mongrel. We had a little picnic and finished off with a swim, the river was lovely and warm. Fantastic way to pass a few hours, very relaxing and probably quite healthy subject to how many pork pies, cheesy wotsits and bottles of cider there are in the picnic.

Got home from work and cleaned the SS as I feel like taking something different to work tomorrow.. It's not mint but I'm always amazed how lovey she comes up for a 21 year old..
Very rare for me as i travel solo everywhere on the bikes & set my own pace etc,but decided as the sun was out in force to phone a friend for a rideout which i enjoyed very much.
