Yes, it's happened to me a few times over the last couple of days. One was trying to pay my (combined) gas & electric bill online and had to go through the "we'll text you a code" procedure. After getting the code and putting it in, it declined the transaction anyway Had to do it again, another code, second time it went through. 2FA is a good thing as it does make it harder for someone to clone and spend on your card, as long as they trigger the fraud algorithm...
Already using this system here with Credit Agricole. Tbh I really like it, gives me more confidence when purchasing online.
