Last reply, as its pointless, but it's Sinn Fein, not "Sinn Fienn" and the trouble will largely arise on the northern side of the border, in which case, its the PSNI who are the police force, the formation of which is something you are also no doubt in blissful ignorance of.
If you had taken your head out of your arse, you would have seen there will be no hard border on the north, the uk has given the guarranty of that almost daily If the terrorists want to shoot a hard border then it will come down to the garda to deal with, as the only hard border will be on the republics side.,
Thankfully they are as thick as two planks. Once they read 3 years worth of the U.K. government saying no hard border from us, it might finally sink in.
Can’t remember how many times I have said this It’s not an Irish border it’s a European border or a British border depending on what’s being considered. So let’s apply some logic to your misguided claims. Let’s assume there is no EU/UK border in Ireland. The U.K. starts importing goods which do not meet EU standards. These goods can then travel freely into part of the EU. The remainder of the EU then will do what? How will they react to the possibility of those goods landing in Rotterdam or Hamburg or Santander?
Why are you putting the words of Sinn Fein in my mouth? I am informing you of the reaction of Sinn Fein.
Oh. Does the GFA apply to all EU and British borders? Ooh, ooh! I know, I know! The EU introduces checks for goods flowing from Ireland to the rest of the EU, in order to preserve the peace that the GFA provides? What did I win?
Correct @Loz - that would be the logical reaction: except that’s not going to happen - ever. So there is no chance of there not being a hard border between the U.K. and Ireland. People can jump up and down and say the UK isn’t putting up check points but that won’t make any difference to Republicans who rightly regard the the border as a British creation in the first place. Unless you look at the problem from everyone’s point of view you will never understand the issue. they will also rightly attribute the placement of new infrastructure as the result of how the Welsh and you Angies voted. So you need to take responsibility for your actions I spend most of my time working in the City and Canary Wharf. I don’t want it to become a bomb target
So. The problem is utterly intractable ... so the Republicans get what they have already agreed to and the UK electorate does not get what they voted for ... Seems legit. Nah. My money is on the EU stepping up and doing what is righahahahahaha sorry, I could not keep a straight face.
They could just leave NI in the customs union and almost everyone is a winner and a loser. The U.K. stays intact There is no hard border in Ireland rUK gets to leave on 31/10 The RoI doesn’t have to take on NI if unification happened It’s only the knuckle dragging DUP that would have a big moan. But who cares.
By democracy being used? My, you can see why those heathens are so volatile, Couldn't you just show them your posts, I'm sure you'll be okay
I know you aren't that stupid so I now have proof of your opinion of me. Thanks bud, you're a peach : o )
