  10. Finished decorating family room (finally). Replaced rotten slats on bench in garden. Relaid wobbly patio slab. Tedious.

Started to clean the 748r - ordered new wheel stickers and Ohlins (original) as a couple were lifting. Ordered new Bridgestone s22's front and rear as the ones on the bike were fitted in 2014 but are dated 2011 and I want to be confident in the tyres. Waiting for the Amazon man to deliver me a socket so I can get the rear wheel off. New hoops being fitted tomorrow all being well.

Out for a blast on the V4 tonight.....

  11. Amazon have delivered.
Holy crap that wheel nut was almost impossible to shift. Monkey with a air gun methinks last time. Not a drama like Paul’s sprocket thank god, scaffold pole to the rescue. Hope the tyres come in on time and it’s playtime.

  16. I was showing my doctor a nasty rash that has appeared on my cock today.

I was a bit concerned as he seemed pretty uncomfortable and didn't want to touch it.

All the miserable sod said was "Please make an appointment at the surgery" and then carried on with his shopping.

  17. Stressful afternoon. Had a phone call from the workshop, the leaky fork seal on the Diavel turned out to be a small radial crack in the aluminium fork tube just above where the fork seal sits which, when refilled with fork oil, continued to piss out. Obviously a new Marzocchi fork tube isn’t a stock item and no sir, the Ducati parts system shows out of stock. Found an outer on eBay off a Chromo which luckily is the same part number and the company selling it is in Chertsey, only 30 some odd miles up the M3/M25. So, on the phone and yes it’s still for sale but can you pay for it with PayPal ? Banking app, transfer money to PayPall account, back on eBay, buy now, wtf, eBay page crashes. Re load the page, wtf, item not showing. Back on the phone, yes our system shows you have bought the item but you haven’t paid. Back on eBay, find the bloody item in my summary page, pay for it. Back on the phone, yes the money has arrived. Jump in the car and drive like a lunatic up to Chertsey and collect the fork outer. Back in the car and drive like a lunatic down to Winchester. Confirm with the workshop, yep, it’s the correct fork outer and it looks good. Hopefully picking the bike up tomorrow ready for the off Thursday. Cutting it fine but if the part fits, I’m a very lucky boy so bought a lottery ticket just in case. Andy
