it's a cracking day out there - how about you?

  1. I normaly wait till it's 10C but this year I've been out a couple of times when its been 5-6C but no wind chill.

    However today, although it's sunny, it's still 0C here . I'll be waiting till it gets a tad warmer and the snow finally melts in the courtyard.

  2. In all fairness, once I'm on the bike it doesn't bother me. It's just the thought of getting on the bike in Baltic conditions, and as I only ride for pleasure these days it ain't gonna happen. End of.

  5. You know what I meant..........no wind chill at 0mph. Because it just gets silly if you add the wind chill from travelling on the bike to the wind chill already there. :smile:

  6. Was glorious yesterday, but is now snowing again!! Definitely April fool's day for the weather gods.

  7. Yes I did.

    It is the blustery conditions that upset the bike that I don't like rather than the cold.

  10. It's a really beautiful, bright, sunny day here... It's just a shame that my bike is 8000 miles away ! :-(

  13. I saw the last of the sun.
    Hoping tomorrow I get somewhere so I can get start planning stuff ..
    If not I'm going to be sourcing parts mostly this year and trying to get bits made.
