British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Nope, still opportunities galore, I have a lot of motorbikes sure, but other than that I am not well off, worked a full time job and a small business for the last 5 years, still have a big mortgage and my business relies on 35% trade with Europe, I also have a European family. I'm just not selfish like a lot of the moaners on here - the opportunities are there and will come - the shit people with your thoughts have caused is tragic for sure - but hopefully it will finally happen soon - stop bitchin' and chill

  2. Generally I think the people that are ‘comfortable’ want to remain in the EU so that they remain comfortable. People with nothing to lose want to leave the EU, perhaps wrongly hoping that things may get better in the long run. Obviously there are exceptions but please correct me if I am wrong.

  3. You're wrong but I have no intention of correcting you.

Just kidding, of course I will correct you.

Remainers generally want to Remain because they have bought into the illusion that the EU is selling - an idealistic, utopian dream of no borders/no divisions/people holding hands across the continent/prosperity for all. Remainers are moral people who wish to take a moral stand and they believe that the EU is a moral organisation. Obviously, Remainers are deeply stupid for believing this. The EU is corruption personified, the same as most other governments. The only difference is, the EU has pulled off a true magic trick - they have successfully weaned a huge chunk of Western Democracy off of democracy. As tricks go, this makes "the Devil making us believe he doesn't exist" a mere card trick by comparison.

Leavers, also moral people by and large, come in various flavours - we'll be "better off" or maybe we'll be "worse off", for instance - but one thing they agree on, they feel that it is an essential tenet of civilisation that ordinary citizens should be able to vote for their leaders. If a society has no real control over who is in charge, it will fail, in famine and in bloodshed.

I am delighted and proud to have been able to assist you here.

  7. Usual sillyness by the spectator and shows it's remain colours by one consistent statement "More generally, I cannot see how the Brexit right can can be beaten "

Even now they still think only the right of the tories, voted for brexit. The alliance theory sounds plausible but the hatred between the parties would see what the tiggers/change uk tried and failed, to many ego's

  8. Won’t parties not putting up candidates for tactical reasons just p1ss people off even more though.
If the party I was going to vote for didn’t field a candidate, to try to get me to vote for another party, I’d either not vote at all or vote against them for the hell of it

  9. Those who benefit will see it as okay but what you are doing in effect is reducing free choice by manipulating the political market, illegal in the financial world, not so much it appears, in the political one.

  10. And the Remoaners won’t be able to show how if you add the votes up in a certain way, close your eyes and tap your head five times - it proves everyone wants to stay in the EU.
