Ktm And Zarco Part Company .

  1. Just been reading that Zarco and KTM will part company after only 1 year of a 2 year deal . Some paddock gossip says he may not even finish the season with them .

It's a tough old world, he could do no wrong on the yamaha .
I don't think their are any moto GP seats available anywhere, so does he try for a moto 2 ride or have a year out and hope for a ride the following year?

Would like to see if Marquez could turn the KTM around, ala Rossi .

  2. BT sport talked about it at the weekend, he's off top M2 again

  3. It's just not mathematical to accommodate all the talented riders in the world with so few rides available.

  4. I know, that's why I'm still a white van man .....

  5. What a bloody shame... He's a great rider. I heard that this manager turned down the factory honda ride before he even heard about it, which is why he sacked him?
Don't know, but would have been good to see him on it instead of Loz...
Think the KTM will come good eventually but I guess he just ain't feeling the love...
Shit to lose talent like his from the GP paddock but as said, there just ain't the seats available...

  6. I like Zarco, but I can't help but feel that his heart hasn't been in it. For a relative new guy to the paddock he could, and probably should, have dug a little deeper and stuck with it.

KTM are no mugs, have the resource, and are used to running professional race teams, Zarco may have burnt a few bridges by throwing in the towel early imo.

  7. That’s a crying shame.
He gave us some very exciting racing on the Yamaha. It’s all gone a bit pear shaped over last couple of seasons .

  8. Think ya right there... Without an offer of another gp ride, what has he to lose? Might as well dig in and make the best of it.. that said, it doesn't appear he has a good relationship with KTM , that gotta be a bit soul sapping...

  9. From what i'd read, much of the relationship was soured by Zarco's comments, occasional toys thrown out the pram and so on.

KTM are too big a brand, with too many employees working their asses off on the project for a relative 'upstart' to come in and go all prima donna on them frankly.

Im not saying Zarco's not good, but 'don't believe you're own hype' is right up there with the advice of 'don't get high on your own supply', seems Zarco dug a hole, got in, had a cry about it for a bit, didn't man up and now has no option but to walk before being pushed.

Pity, hopefully he'll come good again but it does feel more of his making (and his ill advised agent)

  10. Unlike a French man to surrender at the first opportunity

  14. Plenty of talent but like Folger ( remember him ) too fragile mentally for this game.
Shame but I doubt any team will take a chance on him now too many others to choose from.

  15. Hmmmm.... Personally I think he is up there with the best of em.. he is a sensitive sort but I wouldn't call him a moaner ( not that you did!) I think if the teams had a seat for him it would be hard to dismiss him, it was a bad call going to KTM ( at this time) and I don't think too much mud will have stuck re his unhappiness...
Crutchlow has slagged every team he's been at pretty much and keeps getting top rides, I think zarco has more potential...

  16. The difference is when Crotchlow slags off a bike it's in such fake broken English nobody can understand what the fuck he's on about
