It's part of the reason I have no missus!!! Unfortunately I'm not rich ( even without the bird) and cant afford to tax , insure and mot all of em let alone keep em all serviced and running. But I think having 3 or 4 on the go a good effort! It's 3 at the min but 4 again soon with a bit of luck and motivation!!
Actually it's only 2 at the min!!!! Just realised the monster ain't insured!!! Great . That and van due..
get a wumin that loves bikes. mine does, she is never done telling me about her previous BF's and what they could do on a bike.
I've tried all sorts of options re insurance and it's just plain painful.. Not helped at all by a theft claim 2 years back.. both bike and van policies tripled.. Now paying close to 3k a year and that's only 4 bikes and van... Road tax a scam also.. can only use one at a time
I've had a few that iked bikes.. not enough to let me spend my money on the bikes and not them though...
Was more referring to the road tax re being only using one at a time.. road tax should be on the owner/drivrr or fuel not every vehical
the most i'v done on a bike was my rd80lc in my first year as an apprentice. 13k it was forever braking speedo cables so i recon it was nearer 18k before it was nicked. bikes where everything back then.
3yrs and 33000 miles on my multi. Not been the most reliable brand I have to say. Lost count of the issues and parts replaced. Hey ho. When it's right it's great.
z1000 (64 plate)- 17.5k - Daily driver, owned 5 years with not one issue. Starts on the button every time...
St3s = just over 50k 916 = 22k Supersport s = 5.5k Did 9k last year, all weekends or holidays. Few more tours planned for this year still.
