Feeling a little like life is too short. Booked a large country house in Gloucestershire to celebrate my father's 72nd birthday ...with his kids and sister...it will be great. Meal and drinks with no hurry up to get home. .
Spent the early morning on the 1299 while the weather was good and the afternoon on the big girl in the pissing rain helping out on a cancer charity run !!
When things aren't going well, just think how Prince Andrew feels today, after his previously semi-trashed reputation has sunk to unforseen depths on a worldwide basis - suddenly, those commercial deals sponsored by huge companies, may be drying up.....
I’ve just written to Ducati UK to get the BSB tickets for @Fire3500 who won the competition I arranged
Collected my kango from the electric shop repairers but i need to search on ebay for a used/working switch as such an old machine no parts available anymore attempted a ride out on the SPS & after twenty miles aborted due to rain fall, just no pleasure whatsoever in those conditions for me.
Switch found? I get all my stuff fixed by a mate who is the repair guy for a hire company... He has containers full of spares. If ya can't find what you need give me the part or model number and I will ask him..
Chiz,I 've found two used working originals on ebay for the fifty pound touch plus the much later replacement types with plastic insert bowl.If i get stuck i will ask again Kango 900/blue handle/240 volts
Wow! Sounds alot for a switch!!! If you ain't in a rush I will probably see Pete in the next day or 2 ( I'd ring him now but his nick name is gp ( grumpy Pete) and he doesn't like calls at or after dinner time...if you are sorted all good...
Yeah i think i'm in control,a little bit pricey but shortchange compared to the annual petrol billbut thanks for the offer
Just bought a set of front discs and pads for my old Hyundai. Got £10 off using my Halfords Trade Card. Can't believe how cheap the discs are for what is quite a lump of metal
Indeed, more metal than a Ducati disc and nearly as much work involved - where does the extra money go
Scale of economies, less accuracy needed on a car disc, probably cheaper materials to begin with and less processes to manufacture.
