?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  4. Just takes me to a subscribe page.

I was intrigued by the first bit comparing how Powell and Johnson dress.

  5. here are the last few lines.
    .
Thankfully, modern Britain has proven remarkably open to cultural assimilation.

But the virus spawned by Enoch Powell of a negative, defensive, backwards-looking English nationalism has remained in the body politic. It has now been given a deliberate new lease of life by Boris and the Brexiteers as a rationale for quitting the EU.

Powell was a political loner while joker Boris is happily taking donations from a host of hedge fund managers desperate to bet on the chaos that will follow Brexit.

Yes, Boris is history as farce. But that does not mean we won’t suffer.

  6. I don't know anyone who supports Brexit who isn't pro Europe :bucktooth: it's all bollocks made up by the sore losers tbf :):upyeah:

  7. the argument is that the EU is becoming a state rather than a group of independent nations cooperating.
some might say that the brittish/english nationalist might not like that supposed loss of identity. for what ever reason..

  8. Yes indeed, I said Europe :) you say EU :p
TBF it's true, the EU said

  9. Define "defend".

    Two ways.

    1. When you start persecuting your own citizens in an attempt to drive them from their own country.
    2. When you start persecuting another country's citizens in attempt to acquire their country.

    There may be others.

  10. The Eu kind of has its own government, a group of nations cooperating wouldn’t need that.
Not sure about the second bit, you’re probably right though.

  11. In context - stop another country from invading ?

    Ok.

  12. Instead of defend I would use the word “advance”

Unfortunately, BREXIT is being driven by the establishment for financial gain through disaster capitalism

  13. a group of nations with our history in a shrinking world does in my view need some form of Gov legitimized by a popular vote.
dont just assume that i am probably right btw. it could just as easy be snake oil.

  14. Maybe some form of government, without looking I couldn’t say but why does the Eu need so many politicians.

It could be, I don’t think any country wants to lose its identity though.

  15. 500,000,000 people looking for representation.
you go to the likes of iceland and some of the smaller indendent nation states and they can have as much as 1 per 300.

  16. yip, very few do. hence the EU nation state being used as an argument for leave. doesn't mean it was true tho.

  17. I think the EU would fail totally if countries felt they were losing their identity.

  18. yip. that nationalism for you. the non civic kind.

  19. That will be why they have a flag, laws and want a common army, just like the USA. Would United States of Europe been a better name perhaps  USE....….…. :eyes:

  20. There's more than one way to wreck a country than with an "official invasion".

    Define "OK".

    Nah, just kidding : o )
