Had a nail in the tyre but had gone in at an angle not perpendicular to the tyre and seemed to be sitting just into the rubber. Not in a direction that would have reached carcass.
Removed said nail. No pressure loss, no
air bubbles and tyres are almost new.
My thoughts were just keep an eye out on pressure overnight but should be ok.

    Thoughts? Cheers Lyndon BD31BA59-4D0E-4917-8922-972624E68F63.jpeg BD31BA59-4D0E-4917-8922-972624E68F63.jpeg

  2. Warm the rubber up a bit, might go back yo shape.

  3. Had my fair share of punctures on the multi, 3 on the last 3 trips to Scotland! All resulting in pressure loss and 1 in a tyre with just 400 miles on it, I replaced them all. From your photo it looks like it’s “scimmed” the surface, if it were me I’d have a tyre expert check the inside wall for signs of damage, oh and get a tyre compressor and repair kit just in case :)

  6. Had that before. Also had one go right through the face edge and out the very edge of the sidewall. Neither pierced the actual structure so carried on with no drama.

Edit. Found a pic of it. Can't get much closer
