Sorry this is in the the US, but a US collector is selling 80 bikes through Iconic Motorbike in LA, including some special zero mile R bikes. Still worth a look if only to drool. They are auctioning an RD400D I restored at the moment. https://iconicmotorbikeauctions.com It’s about 90% sure!!!...so try and keep September 15th open and available if you happen to be in sunny CA that day! . Why? An open house event like no other. Ten + truly Epic bikes that will be uncrated at our location that haven’t seen the sun for a very very long time! . Sure we will have a food truck and drinks. “Maybe” a very large Industry Partner with a HUGE surprise will join (still a maybe) but how about a “Indiana Jones style” event where the following crates get cracked open for all to see? . 1. Not one but TWO 0 mile Ducati 996R’s! 2. A zero mile Honda NR750! 3. A zero mile Bimota VDUE 500 4. The BSB championship Redbull racebike 996RS 5. A 0 mile Ducati 998S Bayliss 6. A 0 mile Ducati 998S Bostrom 7. A Ducati Supermono in a crate 8. Another MV Senna 1000 (sold two already 9. Yet another Honda RC45 (we have two in-house) 10. A 0 mile Ducati MH900e . Some are pre-sold. Many are for iconicmotorbikeauctions.com. And this is JUST THE START!!! . I’ll send more info as it gets closer. So far so good. It’s gonna be awesome!

On another note, here in the US I have just been offered a mint 1198R Corse which I believe can be had for $35K (about £29K). About 2000 miles from new. Its a lot of money, but I know these are the rarest R. Would it be good news to be owning this in the UK when I come back to retire in a few years? I can get a low mileage Bayliss 1098R for half that money here in the US.
