I dont expect there will be great changes but what the hell do I know!! I would expect a nice colour dash just like the Panigalli Cruise control? Improved Alternator? oh... and hazard flashers for Andy!!
I don't expect to see many if any changes on an existing sales success unless the opposition starts to catch up or comes up with new ideas. The best mod would be to drop the price a bit but that won't happen - they'll just continue to creep it upwards. If there is a feature developed on another model (Diavel?) that will fit, we might see that. Otherwise, Ducati don't seem to be very responsive to feedback about customer expectations or preferences in my limited experience with them.
some spring rate upgradables for front and rear would be quit some improvement for the light or big riders amongst us
Spoke to Ducati Leeds regarding Multi upgrade and they said nothing will happen until spring 2015. All new bike then with Penigale engine. I am saving now !
I think the keyless ignition is of little or no benefit & just a gadget in reality along with the steering lock so think they should go back to a conventional set up. I assume the Panigale runs a similar system? Surprised that Ducati aren't doing a smaller 848 Multi (they did a 600 in the original) to compete with the smaller capacity Triumph, KTM & BMW models.
They probably will, the new 848 streetfighter has the same 11 deg valve set-up that started with the 1200 in the Mutley, to give it more mid range, and is the better bike for it, as the sales of the 1200 start to reduce, an 848 will follow.
