Today I had my annual game of golf, great day out, had three birdies, one was a two but I didn't enter the two's comp, and lost 4 ball's so my round was very erratic but enjoyable, next game in 12 months. Steve
Dad gave me a call earlier and said he was in trouble could I come round. Jumped in the cage, shot round and it turns out for the first time in his life he can't cut his own toe nails, yes, that was an emergency apparently. He said they were digging into his toes and hurt so, he's my dad I said pop your socks off and lets have a look. Fuck me, edward scissor toes, I ain't cutting them fukka's, I'd need a dremmel and a chain saw. Make note to self, call chiropodist tomorrow then feel sorry for what they are about to see and deal with for £18.
Next time go to Sutton on Sea... it's lovely. Skeggy is too bracing. I met @Sam1199 at Cadders this morning. Good bloke and his mate Barry was a nice chap too. It's never the wrong day for a cuppa at Cadwell.
Wish I’d known you were all going to be there :/ Ps. Does “bracing” mean “squalid and full of grossly obese, tattooed chavs”?
That's why Sutton is nicer... dodge Mablethorpe too (except for the beach racing in winter). Wells Next The Sea is about the next non-horrid place down the coast from Sutton, Skeggy is where all the scooterists and swingers go for their weekend shindigs.
Bins & flowers for DB from the vans perspective,,,a rush job sorryReceived a surprised phone call...do you want a rideout said the friend...yeah ok...had to turn the van around to pickup the weapon of choice. Went onto the coast with a third rider as well which was fabblack clouds looming all around us there & back but did not get wet which was a bonus as i don't like cleaning bikes these days so now just waiting for Peaky Blinders to complete my weekend. How about you
Back from ten days around the north coast of Scotland and had a great time. Didn’t book any campsites just rocked up and picked a pitch. We went anti clockwise as the forecast was better and it turned out to be a good decision as there were a lot of soggy motorcyclists travelling in the opposite direction. Single track roads with passing places are easy to deal with if you have common sense and good manners. Ten days gives you a chance to take your time and chill but your could do it in less if you are pushed for time.
Spent all day Saturday fixing my father in laws roof. Made from a very special kind of roof slate called Colleyweston, particular to east Northamptonshire/Lincolnshire/ north Cambridgeshire area. Couldn’t just chuck a ladder on it, much less walk on it so hired a cherrypicker. That was an adventure. This morning, up at 6.15 and rode to Cadwell with Bazzer to meet Fire3500. Good company, good breakfast and good chat. Got soaked not just once but twice on way back via the Sportsbikeshop in Boston. Spent the afternoon finishing off repairs on father-in-law’s roof. It’s good for another 100 years now. Visited my mum, saw my sis and bro 5. Full on weekend.
Went to Castle Combe Grand National. Met these racey lads Paid a visit here And wasn't sure if I loved or hated this!
When I took this pic I tried at the time, almost exactly a year ago, to find out what this was all about and stumbled on the answer by accident today (Coast prog). It's part of the massive sewerage clean up detailed in link below. https://www.tideway.london/locations/putney-embankment-foreshore/
