British Indy: What Happens Now?

Discussion in 'Wasteland' started by Loz, May 23, 2015.

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  2. yeah yeah, just like she was going to have indi 2

  3. Lots of backslapping tonight in certain quarters. Will they ever learn? Do they think this is just going away? :)

    Interesting times indeed.

As for Labour, Lib Un-Dems and SNP backtracking on an election after calling for nothing else for 2 years. :grinning: What's the point in fighting it until a law is passed blocking no deal? Whoever gets elected on 14th Oct can just change the law anyway with their majority.

Lets hope for filibustering of epic proportions from the Lords and a Brexit Party / Boris pact in a few weeks. :) :upyeah:

  5. Epic hyperbole. :) I can see why you like him, very entertaining playing to his audience, if a little repetitive.

I preferred Angus Robertson's death stare o_O Will he be back when the SNP take a few more seats btw?

  6. blackford fin, said lets have one but never said when. he like the others have constantly said the prime minister has not even been elected by the people, boris says come on then lets have one, to the lib dems, snp and labour, lets see how many want one tomorrow, I suspect none because their bluff has been called

  7. If the Scots had another IndyRef and voted leave:
We'd never have to endure another Scottish PM or Chancellor fucking it up for the majority.
We'd never hear from Blackford,Sturgeon or any other English-hating racist politician from the North.
We'd never have to watch football played from towns we've hardly ever heard of.
The good far outweighs the bad,Imo.
Not forgetting,if they had gone already BJ would have prevailed tonight and we'd be laughing at the sour-faced tramp.
Bojo should tell Robertson et al he'll trade them an Independence vote if they sit on their hands tomorrow.

  8. you probably see more of him than what I do. I think he is the right man for the job, Brexit has made it all about the constitution and he is a passionate guy.
Don't know about Angus, I haven't seen anything on him having been selected. being fluent in German he's been quite busy in the media over there, and helping to manage and coordinate Plaid Cymru. who are doing well. a cool guy in the flesh, loves his dug and rock music. wears a duffle coat. there was talk of him running for Ruth Davidsons seat, but she aint quite the scalp as before.

  9. why haven't you ever heard of them? don't they teach you about the "UK" in England?
