  1. Hi there I have just become the owner of a Ducati 848 evo. This is my first ever ducati I have always owned jap bike over the moon made the jump but would appreciate any k knowledge on maintenance or things I should watch out as I said totally new to this.

  2. Welcome Sam, great looking bike the evo. They’re not fun around town, rattle, pop & shake like you’ve never experienced from a jap bike but apart from that, they’re raw fun, true balls out biking, you’ll love it once you show it who’s boss!

  3. Welcome and enjoy.

    Welcome into our mad house

  12. Welcome, as for things to look out for on a Ducati - anything located between the front edge of the front tyre and rear edge of rear tyre will be problematic - all the rest is fine :yum
Seriously, there are loads of horror stories but I don't think they are any more trouble that most makes - servicing by dealers is expensive though, learn yourself by following @PaulPhillips in his sprocket thread :upyeah:

  17. With an angle grinder, a Dremel, a hacksaw, a file, a blowtorch, a lump hammer and a 12” drift aka a socket extension, 10-12hrs spread over a 2-3 week period. Easy peasy:D

  18. Thanks :bucktooth:
