Desmosedici up for auction in the US on Bring a Trailer. 16 miles on the clock. Last one on here (2 weeks ago) went very cheap ($39K) - well, for one of these. Can get some good buys on this website https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2...=email&utm_campaign=bat_category_notification
The original R1 with low ownership/mileage a must for any yamaha rider. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1998-Yam...773169?hash=item4d94abddb1:g:hk0AAOSwGoZc5SRQ
I like his quote of most likely a press bike, err no because all the press bikes have been accounted for apparently, there were such a shortage of these when they came out that bikes built and destined for other countries were diverted to the UK to satisfy the demand. My mates R1 came from Italy!! They certainly will be going up in price but they are still plentiful at the moment for cheap money.
Don't you just love the salesman all day long & their rubbish pitchnever had this nonsense with Mike Doble ever.
Lovely 900SL back online but no improvement on the photographs https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Ducati-S...rentrq:009ad94316d0aa18f15aac04ffcd50a3|iid:1
It will be but you have to do what you have to do sometimes. Most of us over 45 will all have had to make bike sacrifices at one point or another. The good news is you will get something even better in the future. It all kind of works itself out in the end. Best. Richard
Bugger, you spotted this when I posted it in the wrong thread.... Thought I'd got away with it If what your hunting at is true, Ibeing a spring chicken and 35, happy bloody days and I'm looking forward to the replacements already! In all seriousness though, it's not been an easy decision for us but the right decision in the grand scheme of things
Indeed, no one wanted the red seat in 1998 so 90% sold were blue, they corrected the colour on the 4XV in 1999 and sold more Black Red & White ones than blue. Now people hype the poncey red seat as rare and more valuable Here's my zero mile '99 4XV I run a 5PW R1 on the road...
Fishy. Especially as it’s a 1970 bike with a plaque that does not chronologically fit, even before the 350lc 4LO restamp
