British Indy: What Happens Now?

?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

Results are only viewable after voting.
  1. Your threats of violence on an internet forum because of the word Scottish are getting tedious.

  2. Do the 1st and you're far more likely to get the 2nd.

They should have just done what they said they would and we'd not be going through this circus now.

  3. Then would you try to show it by actions because by words, you appear to be telling porkies :D

  4. It would open the door for a Scottish unilateral Declaration of Independence should the SNP win convincingly at the next GE. Gove ignoring the law would be an absolute disaster and plunge us into even more chaos than we are now. We need more process and diligence and process now not less. It was Cameron’s lack of diligence in laying out the terms of reference and consequence of an EU referendum that has placed us where we are now.

  5. My words are a result me seeing it as sport

  6. In it's basic form, we now have a house of commons and house of lords that would rather disable the countries government rather than allow the peoples wishes from the very vote they asked us to have

This is why some of have said that this was bigger than brexit and more once you give the commons the ability to ignore democratic votes, this will not be the last time they do it as they now have precedent of it is acceptable.

  7. I have not threatened anyone, nor would I ever.

I have explained to you in order that you do not find yourself on the wrong side of physical aggression, because I would not want that to happen to you under any circumstances. There are none which are justified. I also do not want Scots who are interested in this forum to be put off from joining.

It is clear to anyone with a brain that the word “Scottish” is offensive and that there have been many occasions when people far less relaxed than I have responded in a physical manner.

If you genuinely believe that the word is not offensive or then why would you suppose that people would react with violence? If it’s as innocent as you say, then first of all, you would not find it funny and second it would not generate a reaction.

The word itself is used by some English people to attempt to exert dominance over Scots. This is why most Scots find it offensive and reject the word.

It’s classic bullying behaviour to blame the victim for their own bad behaviour. I wonder what your inner triggers of submission are that makes you want to attempt to exert dominance. It is common for people in such circumstances to be totally unaware of this.

“She was wearing a short skirt”

It’s also interesting that since I pointed the above out that some people have stopped using the word Scottish.

    In summary, grow up

  8. You keep saying "Come to my pub and use that word, see what you get", "You wouldn't use that word in front of a Scot".

You've implied it numerous times.

  9. cool you admit you are trolling the forum deliberately, on ignore you go but before I do such a thing,

If you want to keep asking men out for a drink, may I suggest you are on the wrong forum and this one may suit your needs more accurately https://www.grindr.com/

  10. Other than the staying in bit, well said, I want out more than ever now, staying in will only get worse and we will have lost any influence we had before.

  15. Typical Lefty abuse :p you’re worse than 748er

  16. If anything I feel this will increase the amount of those who want to leave with no deal, people had a low enough opinion of politicians, the commons and lords.

If we are now in a position where the political establishment can not only refuse democratic votes but also lockdown a government trying to carry one out, I can see a massive turn out by leavers at the very next election

  18. I suppose that assumes the word Scottish isn’t provocative, which it is. And there lies your problem. You do not see yourself as the instigator and won’t accept responsibility

  19. We have our differences on Brexit etc, but outside of that I think you are a pretty decent bloke and I enjoy your posts. Even many of the Brexit ones. But I am not lying down over the Scottish thing ever
