?
  1. Full Brexit with "no EU deal" on the 29th March.

  2. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a general election and new negotiations.

  3. Request Extension to article 50 to allow cross party talks and a new deal to be put to EU.

  4. Request Extension to article 50 to allow a second referendum on 1. Remain in EU or 2. Full Brexit.

  5. Table a motion in parliament to Remain in EU WITHOUT a referendum.

  6. I don't know or I don't care anymore

  1. Jesus Christ. He was also one of the clowns the Govt let have a sit on the Woolsack for while when he had a go at being the Lord Chancellor in 2014/15 and unsurprisingly he managed to bring the criminal justice system to its knees. His replacement (Gove) quietly undid every single one of his bone headed reforms in pretty short order.

God only knows how Grayling keeps getting appointed to high office. It's clearly not on account of his ability so I can only guess that he must have dirt on someone high up.

...... it emerged the government handed out a 14million pound contract for extra ferries to a company that owned no boats and published terms and conditions on its website thatappeared to be for a takeaway food business”

^^^^ That’s proper special, that is.

Still. It’s said that he does the work of two men. Unfortunately, those two men are Laurel and Hardy.

  2. I think the Tories that gave him those jobs are so blinded by their own ideology that they couldn't see the wood for the trees.
Grayling privatised everything (oddly he became very rich too?) he touched which is close to the heart of our Conservative friends. That he cocked up everything didn't matter so long as the ideology rolled on...

  3. Wasn't he one of the first to go once Boris took over?

  4. I imagine that banning books for prisoners also played well with “the faithful”.

It’s funny you mention his sudden riches as there was a story in the paper that the privatisation of the probation service* was tainted by the sort of cronyism you’d expect in Russia or a banana republic rather than the UK Oddly though, despite the fact that it should have been a national scandal and reported widely it was only tucked away on page 20 of the Guardian. Strange.

    * Yet another disaster which has been fairly swiftly undone but not before there were a couple of murders and several rapes committed by ex offenders who were not being adequately supervised.

  5. This was actually suggested prior to original extension, IIRC.

It is an amusing idea and would be a hoot if it were tried this time but I suspect the EU Parliament in Westminster would find some way to screw the country. Again.

  6. Tweet from Daniel Hannan

2016: Goldman Sachs says Brexit would be a “disaster”which would force it to cut its UK presence.
2019: Goldman Sachs opens a billion pound new European head office in London.

Wait, Goldman Sachs, who has just employed Olly Robbins?

Hey Remainers! Joining the dots yet?

  12. Boris Johnson’s first foray into immigration law is to let overseas students stay longer. Don’t these graduates go on to become experts?

Those people who don’t like foreigners and don’t like experts are going to be apoplectic when they find out we are going to have more foreign experts

  13. Beside David Cameron who gets paid £500000 a year because he pressured Johnson into giving Uber a license for London

Osborne gets the same money from Black Rock. They work one day a month.

Both a major shareholders in uber

  14. Calamity Johnson.

6 defeats out of 6 in the Commons and now he gets trounced in the courtroom as well. His brushes with the law may not end there, because if he ignores the “No No Deal” Act, he also risks prison for contempt of court. Perhaps he’ll end up as Tommy Robinson’s celly?

BoJo managed at least one thing though - he’s somehow managed to make Corbyn look statesmanlike in comparison. :yum

  15. I wouldn't worry too much, the scottish one is to be expected as was said last week when they failed to win and wanted another go, as is the norm for the snp and remainers

Gina millers case is due to go to appeal also and I suspect if she wins then both cases will go to the supreme court and I wonder if they will be dealt with at the same time?
