Hmmm, interesting. Extrapolating from these data, it's almost as if the "bigger" the government, the greater the number of people under it who are unlikely to be satisfied with how they are governed. Can't be right. That would imply that devolving power down, away from the centre and towards the regions, is a better way to govern people as it provides for more consent. Which is clearly nonsense.
funny how brexiteers often think its all about democrcy and the free market. they also tend to suport a smaller public sector. the more you sell off to the free market the less democracy and accountability you have.
Actually, most brexiteers would just be happy with democracy, respecting democratic votes and implementing them
more respect the facts. who was it that recently said that, had the public known, they wouldnt of voted for brexit?
did you know when you voted for indi 1 and the snp's forecast was upto $130 a barrel, that it would not have even reached half of that for the 5 years that followed ?
did you know the uk gov was predicting higher? surely they wher not trying to influice their credit rating? did you know that appart from the obviuos benifts to the N/E we get pretty much bugger all from the oil anyhoo? so, even at $30 dollars a barral its double the costs than it is to extract it, did you know the norweigions made 9bill in the same year the uk made 100mill? from the same product? did you know X amount goes a lot further between 5.5mill compaired to 60mill?
Obvious benefit to NE is higher wages for those in oil industry and jobs for those in supporting industries, not a huge amount more other than a few shiny buildings
When it comes to indy accounts, I suspect the firm D&I aneabbott plc produced them On another note, police have dropped the investigation into leave.eu due to insufficient evidence. Shocked? most leavers won't be https://uk.reuters.com/article/uk-b...-into-leave-eus-brexit-spending-idUKKCN1VY1EU
funnily enough, tho the wages are better the cost of living was less than anywhere else i have lived. when i first moved back west, my wage droped by a third yet housing is dearer, food ect all dearer. the flat i sold on crown street would of been been twice the price in oban. odd.
i'v no idea, the wife sorts that out. i think we are about a grand a year but we dont pay for water. i dont pay bussness rates so i guess that compensates.
