Coast run to Eastbourne with two friends today which was fab.& just watched Little Tony The Devil Elias win a race in the MotoAmerica.
Decorating all weekend....just finished todays stint.....90% done - just a few boards left to put in (Click lock Floor) - home straight after that....build some flatpack - move furniture back in...etc etc....should get my daughter out of the sitting room...
The weather was supposed to be but wasn’t, meh . Still was relatively dry so a run up to Cork for a bacon buttie then south to Kinsale and then back home. Not too bad, and now I’ve set the suspension properly it makes a world of difference . Kinsale below.
We went to watch our 7yo grandson play rugby in Cambuslang, Glasgow. He did a great job of avoiding the ball
I looked out for you but you you never came past us Lovely along Beachy Head road, gutted I was in the tin box.
We aimed for Seaford at the last minute as the Newhaven roads were shut down for some odd reason maybe roadworks, but ended up at the Beachy Head pub because the queue was ridiculous for drinks at the seafront area Perfect weather for it.
We did Pevensey, Eastbourne, Beachy Head then back to Mum and Dads at Seaford late afternoon. Glorious weather. Pub lunch. Happy times. The view along the 7 Sisters was stunning in the late afternoon light. Then home on the dreaded m25.
Sounds like you had a great day at the racesas for the M25 do you remember when it was first opened No folks on it back then how times have changed.
Wow. I thought it was later than that. I moved to the south east from Wales in 1985 but vaguely remember it being open between Heathrow and the M40. Did they open it in sections?
What i do know is the last section opened was the leatherhead run as my father used run his 911 through this closed bit,,very cheeky but hey why not.LOL
My mate drove his Morris round Sketty Park roundabout 33 times non stop. Then got chased by the police. We used to lean out of the car windows and shout abuse st pedestrians. Nothing rude, just shout the word, “Abuse”. Oh to be young.
My Grandad was born just below where you were standing taking the photo, his father was an officer at the Fort. Beautiful place.
