I have always found Pro Twins to be excellent. Having these sort of issues is frustrating and does diminish the joy of ownership. As stated in an earlier thread if the dealer feels they have dealt with the issue you'll have to document everything prove the fault and get the result. Unfortunately this all takes time but if the bike is faulty, its faulty, then you have rights. Good luck and bear in mind no matter what brand you buy there will always be a bike that becomes an issue. I hear far more horror stories on the GS front than I hear of Ducati. Good luck.
As most said ride the bike. Prove whether is fixed or not and then decide on the right action. If fixed but not happy to keep then you can sell privately with a clear conscience. If not fixed, see a lawyer for advice. Ducatis love to be used. Mine, 2013, done over 49k miles and just feels and sounds great. On my last desmo service I replaced 5 shims (first time), took almost a week to finish but is great now. Problems...minor issues - Map sensor, sheared exhaust, broken wire, lost side stand plate bolt, heated grip, leaking clutch slave cylinder ... all fixed by me apart from the lazy fuel sensor... I can live with that until it goes down completely and then I will take I apart. Ducatis are reliable !!
I'm going to guess Marks google review on pro twins might be the most recent https://www.google.com/search?q=pro...8#lrd=0x4875f9a02e4950e3:0xedebab53307801f9,1,,,

I bought a brand new Ducati for over £22,000 last year and had nothing but problems with it from the beginning. Its been backwards and forwards to Protwins to be fixed and they have never kept me informed of what is going on, never offered me a courtesy bike, and whats more have denied that I have reported faults, and then told me over the phone they have fixed a fault and then denied it at a later date. Absolute shambles. Currently I have been forced to collect my bike as they were threatening me with storage charges, even though they haven't fixed it! It is unrideable, as it started to completely shut down mid ride on me which any rider will know is very dangerous! Now I am stuck with a bike I cannot ride, they have offered me a measely £11,000 to buy it back, which would mean I have lost over £10,000 in under a year of owning a bike, that has been off the road for a big chunk of the year anyway! Like I said, avoid like the plague, this has been a nightmare!! Maxim Richmond 1 review 4 days ago- The way these guys treat their customers is absolutely shocking and shouldn't be allowed. Spend your money somewhere else. Richard Club 1 review 4 days ago- If I could give them no stars I would. Ryan Archer 4 reviews 4 days ago- Shocking customer services, do yourself a favour and buy your bike soemwhere else. carolyn archer 3 reviews 4 days ago- Has to be the worst Ducati dealership in the whole of the UK. Never again. Loading... David Horrace 1 review 4 days ago- awful customer services, lots of lies told, cant believe a word they say
Agree that's why I asked the O/p how he got on after he said they had fixed it and it was ready, he's not been back since that post. Plus those you mention exi, all posted the same day as the op, some had not posted a google review for a year uptil then and one had never given a review before and two have the same surname
David Horrace = Hardcover Aid Carolyn Archer = Archly Corn Ear and best of all: Ryan Archer = Her Car Yarn or famously: Alan Parsons = Anal Porn Ass ( ok that wasn’t one)
There are always two sides to every story as has been said. If everything is as the OP has stated then I would suggest that he takes his case to Ducati UK with a copy to ProTwins MD. But the fact that his bike has been given back many times, and he’s accepted it would suggest to me that there’s more to this than meets the eye. Seems to me that he’s got some kind of feud going on with ProTwins. He's only posted 4 times on here, and posted a few google reviews (suspiciously all on the same day ) seemingly just to rubbish reputations, which may be deserved or may be isn’t. Anyway thread closed, and the OP can take his complaint directly to source and/or the courts to try and resolve any issues that he may or may not have, rather than use the forum in his vendetta.
