After weeks of waiting (for the paint to dry and decals to arrive) my 916 25th Anniversary V4 has arrived . It’s great and soooo fast. It’s got a single side swing arm, front and rear, a dry clutch (well dry CVT drive) and it’s even got a limited edition transfer on the yoke, just like the Bologna version. Mind you it’s only a V1, I’ve got to save up for the other 3 cylinders I reckon if Ducati can take something that’s not a 916 and call it a 25th Anniversary 916 then so can I. Plus they’ll never ship one to Ireland so I had to improvise. ps The donor machine is in the last photo.
I read the title and though 'what the has he done now' I wasn't far off the mark but I thought it might have been a flower pot or a wheelie bin
Phwoarrrrr . . . . Hang on a cotton picking minute, I smell a rat. There's no way you could have put 1,400km on that beauty in one day. I think you are lying.
Sorry, but it’s a limited edition 001/001, priceless now though Delivery mileage Rob, that’s what that is. So they told me anyway. It’s taken 20 years to get to where it is today. Mind you that’s a bit quicker than your Z1
1/1 didn’t look right on the file. I was going to do 501/500, perhaps I should I’ve learnt. No front sprocket on this one ‘Weights’ and ‘restrictor plate’ do tell me more. Can it go faster? It already does 180.....inches per second.
