  1. First track outing for the Ape today :upyeah:

    Did my ACU classroom and practical with No Limits at Donny. A couple of short session out on track was enough to establish;

    a) it’s quick
    b) need to dial back the electric aids
    c) better pads are needed

    I didn’t push too hard as there wasn’t enough time plus I’m not sure the Supercorsa SP’s have the level of grip I’m familiar with o_O

    Overall it felt good :cool:

  5. I’ve given up on superbikes on the road as the drivers round here are brain dead and the rods are knackered

  7. It makes me mad cos there is now nowhere I can do 160 mph on our public roads without hitting a pot hole or traffic jam or more likely temporary fucking traffic lights

  12. Get some Z04's in there. The Supercorsa SP's are pretty dam good tbf! They came OE on the V4S and were way grippy enough for me. I was impressed with them. But I wasn't going banzai as the bike was brand new plus you're quicker than me I'd say.
    Enjoy :):upyeah:

  15. I agree Z04’s are on the list. I’m sure the SP’s are fine, more to do with my head and new bike feel to get used to.

  16. Plenty race on them, even the road ones are same compound as the pro slicks. Long as warm, they grrrriiiiiippp

  17. I think you mean the SC's not the SP's. The latter is the road-based version that comes as OME on many Superbikes these days, I'm not aware of any series that races on them but happy to be corrected :upyeah:

  18. Club level ;) But IIRC the compound of the SP is the same as the Pro slicks. Not the BSB ones but the ones the club racers and trackdayers often use. My mate craig got half a season from a set of those in NGRCC on his 996

  19. Ah, sorry. You might be right, the Pro Slicks are the "track day" friendly versions designed to work without warmers. They could indeed be the same compound and therefore quite hard.

    I ran a set of the slicks when I was fairly new to TD's and they lasted ages. When I swapped to an SC2 compound the difference was like night and day!

  20. You need a Tuono 1100 V4 Factory
