Cheers, we had a springer before. when he went we said no more (as we always do) then a few months later ended up with the GSD. Springer was a lot of fun, great family dog. Hard work though.
Yup, they are hard work. Those two are our third and fourth. First to 15, second only made it to 2, but by god did he live his life! We always say that's it but they are sooo beneficial for body and mind.
I got a Pigeon in the last 10 minutes. Didn't bloody want it but the wife wouldn't let the cats do what's in their nature.
My mate had the same about 5 years ago - a little chick his girlfriend rescued in the garden. It still lives in the house to this day and won't go outside, it even watches TV. They have to get a pigeon sitter whenever they go on holiday - good luck
