2013 Qatar MotoGP Saturday Round Up: Starting Like A Champion, And Qualifying Strategy | MotoMatters.com | Kropotkin Thinks Another good write up by David Emmett
Well there you have it, Dovi who everyone wrote off takes what is essentially the bike that Rossi condemned as no good and whoops his sorry arse with it. Really looking forward to the race now it going to be a corker.
Well Dovi showed Rossi his Arse did he? Sorry to say it Ducati still a shed Well done Rossi and fantastic race, we have missed close racing for the last few seasons
That was a good race. Lets hope the season is all as good as that - except less of a Lorenzo running away....
Well, that answered a lot of questions: Rossi still has it. Marquez is indeed Pedrosa's worst nightmare. The Ducati is what it is. Cal would be right up the pointy end with a faster bike. It promises to be a great year.
Bringing Stoner back and making the Ducati competitive would make it perfect......neither will happen but never mind Rossi is back. Looking forward to the next race
Jl and vr have the better bike and the diff grew at the end .Vr did a great job sticking it on a great come back. But the way mm stuck it to dp and then kept fighting back even with worse tires and kept it close to the end must be the revelation.
Enjoyed that! lorenzo is just so consistant I fear the season could well be a mix of him hitting top pace from lap one then all the battles being 2nd,3rd and 4th, hopefully not but its likely. rossi looked good after he settled, first few laps he looked maybe too eager but you can't blame him, when that past it was simple enough for him so maybe he'll battle JL. pedders...... Well, he needs to wake up, man up and get his head straight, I do like the guy but if he's not careful MM will quickly brush him aside . dovi, I reckon he's looking pretty good on that, seemed well ahead of the other ducati riders and ill admit he's proved me wrong. spies.........WSBK? Cal, awesome, he is alien status no doubt and its just a bit dosheartening to see him try so hard and the tech 3 team not get the full support. So stop being so tight Yamaha, if he's up there now why not let him at least do it on equal tech.
Not long now ........ till the wall goes up in the Yamaha garage, Rossi is not going to like the speed of George A very good race Dovi was brilliant Marquez wow shame he had no tyre left at the end and Cal desperately needs the promised upgrades, can't wait for the next one.
Fantastic race, better than moto 2 and 3 for a change (bit processional weren't they?!) Long may it continue!
First race of the year and it was better than anyhing we saw in the last two years , itsgoing to be a great season.
Dovi did do very well, clearly Audi have got something moving. Spalders did say that Dovi rides his bikes with him positioned a lot further back which puts the weight onto the back and that seems to work. He said on the Honda he was 8cm further back!
