IMO you don't need race pedigree to make a bike special and no, the FE is not a standard 1299 motor, read the link, it's not been hobbled by budget constraints. The FE also uses the 1299 SL software which no other bike did. Back to back in the hands of an experienced V (or L) twin rider, the FE will obliterate the Panigake R. Andy
Yes, but they were over £1 too - stop being pedantic - you could also say they were under £100,000 too. Next
Couldn’t sell it privately because it had a huge wedge of outstanding finance, I bought it off dealer for not much more than quoted. This one has been advertised before too but obviously didn’t sell.
Getting confused, my link was to a 2004 998 fe for £22k. I'm pretty ignorant of Ducatis after about 2006
I didn’t know there was a previous link and just read ‘not a fan of the Pani’ and ‘the FEs not that special’ so jumped to the conclusion you were talking about the Panigale 1299 FE. Sorry. Andy
Hence why there is a bargain to be had here, especially as it has a best offer option. £16750 anyone?
Yeah, he's going to Die Hard asking that kind of money for it. It's not even RED for goodness sake. Although mutley's are Unbreakable, he must have some kind of Sixth Sense to expect to get that kind of money for it. I think he'll be Moonlighting for a while as he'll not sell that.
