Oh I don't know. I've done a couple of track days and races on the little 50bhp, air cooled DD bike at Donnington and it was enormous fun! I've also done a couple of track days there on the 1098... which was also a lot of fun. Most circuits in the UK don't need massive bhp, just good handling bikes.
Which I clearly am.... I'm doing a trackday at the endof the month, and even my Evo was flat out on the limiter for a few seconds last time...Phil taking his DD bike. My money is on a big bang moment
Errr....No mate, you're super fast in the corners! I'd like to see you on the bigger bike, I'm guessing (like me) it'll play more to your strengths (athletic build :wink more than the DD bike.
Looking forward to seeing if Craig can embarrass me on his 996 which he's been racing against my 848 which I havent. Better be dry! Lol
I can see I'm going to have to bring the big lass now. no point taking a knife to a gunfight
I'm in too, yippee! Hopefully better weather than last year...... Hopefully no noise restrictions either, last year there was a sign on the wall saying 118dB limit! Excellent, no baffles then....... Hardly ever get to try the big bike in the UK because if the noise..... Pete, I will try the Manor House too this year if you promise no fighting over politics!
If you book thru a dealer its just like buying a part or a service so reciept is what you get. Well it was last year
Pete, I just called them to check on parking for a car with trailer and a couple of expensive bikes and it didn't sound too convincing. Any other recommendations from people?
