you don’t get to decide whether Scottish is an insult or not. Same as you don’t get to decide about the C, P or N word
Why? Are you itching to hurl insults at someone this morning? That’s not your usual MO Alan! Maybe we keep the peace 364 days of the year and then have a Purge Night on 31 Oct
I thought I'd ask before posting this (nothing exciting) https://www.bbc.com/news/uk-politics-50007206 Wondering what the EU will say - their stance generally has been 'We have negotiated a deal and that's it" be interesting to see if they have changed their minds.
I’m wondering if this is just a ruse of sorts for PR purposes or, even more cynically, to get hopes up, only for the EU to pull the rug or insist on other terms at the last moment. It’s a standard but pretty sneaky negotiating tactic when you have an opponent with a weak case who is desperate to settle. Also, what do the DUP think about it?
apparently the vast majority dont care what the DUP or even what NI think. i wonder how the scits will feel about Ni being kept in the CU and SM.
It does appear to be cynical after the past few days 'leaks' still the pound is up so Thomas Cook's buyer will be raking it in…..
https://news.sky.com/story/stephen-...r-holding-make-or-break-brexit-talks-11832697 Early days, but does look like the EU may be agreeable to a new deal, I guess it would then be back to series 2 of 'meaningful votes' on the 'BJ Deal' wonder what the chances of that being agreed are ? Corbyn doesn't seem to be prepared to agree with the Tories on anything for one. I haven't seen any mention of the DUP, only seems to matter when the Tories need them for something. It all still looks like the politicians (MP's and MEPS's alike) are playing some sort of game and really don't care about much but themselves.
