  8. Yep - i was kinda thinking this.... i think people chop their machines in and out very frequently (and traders/buyers) jump on this fact and reap the benefits..... i almost feel like a bit weird....
    RSV4 9 years owned
    Hyper 4 years owned
    Z1000 - 6 years owned
    Supermoto - 5 years owned

Ive no plans to sell any of them (however ill reserve judgement on that for the new z1000H2) but even then due to the high cost im pretty doubtful....

  9. Depends if you want the latest/greatest, if you do it costs. Most people make this decision with their eyes open. I don't buy new one as I'm tight and hate depreciation but others don't care. Horse's for courses, different strokes and other cliches.

  10. And there will still be a queue to buy them.

And a sudden glut of s/h V4Rs with less than 1000 miles but without the new lightweight wheels and paint job.

  11. Why is there 77 v4 on eBay right now? It does seem a LOT!

  12. Just to type my thoughts out....holy fuck! 13.5k for a 20k bike thats probably hardly been run in....incredible - im not tight but that'd really hurt to loose that much cash....

  13. A few of em are probably that bloke that keeps putting bikes on saying contact his dad through email and you can buy for 3000gbp. Come to think
Of it he’s probably legit as that’s the asking price for em now lol

  14. To lose the value of my 996 or 999 in a year. I'd be in bits.

  15. They are apparently very expensive and difficult to insure. That will undoubtedly have a big effect on secondhand values..

  17. I guess as we get older the knowledge & wisdom gathered over the years kicks in everytime from now on in life, which can only be a smart move in my book/bank account:upyeah:

  18. Shiny things lose their sparkle as you get older. Other things become more important - health, time, family and friends.

  20. Yeah - the way i see it is if i pile a load of cash into my bikes and get them how i want them....the longer i keep them the more money/value i get from them....assuming no new bikes comes (which i dont think it will) ill be looking for a set of NiX30 internals for either the RSV4 or the zed....i will say im planted firmly in analog world....
