And @ducati dad dont they just let in all the shite off the roads, and rain, getting wet and causing corrosion? I agree they look great but would be worried about that. maybe I should start a thread on it? aka Can of Worms
I have the same on mine, never had a problem, the centrifugal force of the clutch throws everything out.
That is so fucken true . It's been 3 years and 7 days since I last rode her... Got the blood pivot shaft to sort out.. big problem. .
True .. needs some fairing and paint repairs too... More money I don't have.. but you are right.. I will have it done for summer sir!
Right you lot. discs. @West Cork Paul and @Birdie Yes, I know. I will get round to it eventually. It is never ending as you rightly say. Already done much more than I had planned. And I still have to find time to ride the bikes. clutch. @cookster Mr Cook. Where did you get it and what make please? Not sure my budget will extend but I would like to take a look. I will list the suppliers I used shortly. The paint on the fairing and cf lacquer is nice and they ain’t far from you @chizel Chiz. Cost me £500 for the total job (not sure if this is good/bad or middling). I used them cos I was impressed with their set up and they are close to me so I could pop in whenever. Got to get some more bolts done. Earlier posts referenced my OCD. I definitely don’t have it thank God. I was referring in a jocular fashion to my list of fasteners. But, I like my bikes to look good as most of us do - they are our passion, right?
Make sure you purchase the correct Dzus fairing fastners when you find the time, they are around about £6 each,i've a spare set now (but are now back ups before you ask) as somebody treated me to a complete new set for my birthday.
Arrrrrghhhh. Then I would http find the right fairing and screen screws as well. Mine are Allen heads. So, I think I will pass
Mine was a ducati performance part mate. Though I have got and aluminium clutch case I'm going to get machined out and sell.
This might be obvious and you are already doing it but on my SS, I used to press the middle of the spring to flatten and extend it and then hook it on.
